Venise Bard serves as a buyer’s agent, a listing agent, and potentially as a disclosed dual agent for the Greater Bangor Area and beyond. With listings in various locations, including the Downeast and Mid-Coast regions, Venise has developed a working knowledge of markets beyond the Bangor Area, including lakefront and oceanfront homes. In addition, Venise has extensive experience helping clients through each phase of the new home construction process, ensuring that the end product is as the client envisioned it.
Professional Experience
Venise is a Maine native and has enjoyed serving the real estate needs of clients in the Greater Bangor Area and beyond since 2000. Real estate sales came to Venise as a natural culmination of various previous experiences as a Landscape Architect, a Commercial Loan Underwriter, and other sales and services positions. With a desire to serve, she is able to offer her clients unsurpassed guidance throughout the purchase or sale of a home. Venise has always had a joy for meeting and helping people. This energy combined with her intuitive business sense, which evolved from growing up in a large family of self-employed business owners, enables Venise to help with this most important investment.
Professional Education and Designations
Venise earned a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. When returning to Maine, she worked as a research planner with the companies, Planning Decisions and Market Decisions, developing local and State-wide land-use and socio-economic plans. She went on to develop business and financial knowledge from her commercial banking experience with Peoples Heritage Bank (now TD Banknorth) in Portland, Maine. When she moved from Portland to Bangor in 2000, she easily transitioned from banking to real estate. Venise currently holds a Broker’s license, the highest level of residential licensing available in Maine.
