My intent is to set a new standard of real estate service every time I accept the responsibility of helping a new client or customer. I experience a great deal of satisfaction from helping buyers find that perfect new home or helping sellers find the perfect buyer for their home. “Life has two important journeys, leaving a home and finding home again.” These journeys can involve many people, all of which must become part of your home team. They might include a home inspector, banker, attorney, a mover, a surveyor, etc. I take pride in my ability to bring all these professionals together in a fun yet effective manner.
My interest in real estate started when my children were in high school and my husband needed help in his law practice doing real estate closings and title insurance. This experience led to a real estate license. I continued my education by attending courses in real estate law, real estate practice and appraisal. It is amazing what you can learn in the Registry of Deeds. When a citizen committee wanted High Street and parts of Main Street in Camden to become an historic district, I was able to put my Registry experience to work to help home owners and Barbara Dyer, Camden’s historian, do the research necessary to make that happen. It was fun and a great way to give back to my community.
A lot of my friends refer to me as a “people person”. I am always connecting friends with newcomers to our community. Maybe it’s on the tennis court, an outing on Penobscot Bay, a class at Senior College at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast, an investment seminar, watching the Toboggan Races at the Snow Bowl, the Camden Conference, or a quiet lunch but I really enjoy being with and making new friends.
I have been providing top quality service to buyers and sellers since 1987 and hold the advanced designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate Realtors’ Institute (GRI). In 1995, I was President of the Pen Bay Board of Realtors. In 1993 my peers chose me as Realtor of the Year and in 2005 the community selected me as “The Best of The Best in Real Estate.” I would like to be your Realtor this year and for many years to come.
